Why goalkeepers train with us.
See what training at The Box looks like, and why goalkeepers choose KeeperTec.
Welcome home.
Goalkeepers are often an afterthought at team practice. The Box is the opposite: an indoor space made for goalkeepers, where they train as individuals and in groups, all year round. We’re in Cloverdale, close to Langley and South Surrey, and we offer goalkeeper training for youth and adults from across Metro Vancouver.

My 13 year old has been attending KeeperTec for two years on Saturdays. Adrienne creates a nurturing environment where athletes feel safe to make mistakes and receptive to feedback. Adrienne has provided technical coaching that has fine tuned my child's skills. My child attends the session with five other athletes who are all SPL or Div 1 goalkeepers, which demonstrates that the curriculum is effective. The athletes are not constantly doing the same drills. Each session has a different focus that is built upon previous knowledge to develop a well rounded goalkeeper. The location is easy to access and exit, with easy parking on weekends.Posted on Google![]()

Adrienne and Mae been coaching my child for the last 6 months and I’ve been extremely impressed. Their structured approach, attention to detail and clear interest in coaching make them worth every minute spent with them. I also really like that they’ll often spend time at the end of private sessions going over the skills being worked on and where they might be used in matches. I’d recommend them to anyone.Posted on Google![]()

Incredible. We’ve done all the camps and they are good but in one private session with Adrienne, our son learned some fundamental technique — and the why behind it — that made a real difference. Obviously you don’t learn the game in a single session but just know — this is real keeper coaching. Adrienne is the perfect balance of encouraging and disciplined in her instruction.Posted on Google![]()

We have been working with Adrienne for 3 years now. We find her to be a passionate educator who is constantly seeking professional development opportunities for herself, which is like having multiple coaches in one! She has helped to guide my daughter’s journey from Div 1 through to BCSPL and college prep, taking care to tailor all her lessons to my daughter’s needs. For her group lessons, she endeavours to match like students, so they improve together. The most important thing though - she has created a lower Mainland GK Union, and wherever we go, when we work with other keepers, we can tell who is Keepertec trained by how warm, supportive, and encouraging of other keepers they are. When we all help each other get better, we all rise up and set a higher bar!Posted on Google![]()

The coaches at KeeperTec have really helped our daughter increase her awareness when in net… not only her own positioning but also learning how to anticipate what the opponent may do and how best to react in various situations. We love that there is a variety of training opportunities from 1:1 to small group. Each session is well thought out and offers so much in such a little time. With the 1:1 our daughter has been able to review her own game footage and learn how to take her own play next level. Even during a period of injury her coach Mae was able to still create a training session that allowed for injury recovery but focused on the mental side of the game. We are so pleased we found KeeerTec. Our daughter has learned so much and truly enjoys going each week… worth the 45min drive from our house. Thanks Adrienne and Mae!!!Posted on Google![]()

A phenomenal goal keeper training school for goal keepers of all ages. We wished we could have found this school earlier when our son was starting his goal keeper journey. We have seen the vast improvement in his skills since he started his training here at KeeperTec. The training session structure is geared towards the development of all aspects in the goal keeper position from physical, emotional and mental. Highly recommend this training school for anyone in the Lower Mainland and beyond if you are looking for a one stop training school to enhance your goal keeper skills regardless of your level. Adrienne and her crew are the best!!!!
Coached by Adrienne Cook.
Adrienne opened KeeperTec in 2016. She is a former NCAA Division I goalkeeper and a trained PE teacher, and she has coached goalkeepers full time since 2010, from youth to university level. Your questions, answered.
My child is new to goalkeeping. Where do we start?
Tell us a little about their age, experience and what they would like help with. A coach can guide the next step and confirm suitable training before you register.
Can my child do both group and private sessions?
Yes! This combination is a great idea. It allows students to gain the benefits of being with a group as well as the specialized focus found in private sessions.
How are small groups organized?
The Tec Program uses small groups of up to six students. Development stage and training needs matter alongside age. KeeperTec confirms placement so goalkeepers can support and challenge each other.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. All group options have a monthly payment plan option. If you commit to a 3, 6 or 12 month private session membership, this also has a payment plan option.
What is a private session membership?
You are committing to a long-term contract of 3, 6 or 12 months and securing a set day, time and frequency (weekly or bi-weekly). This is your spot for the length of the contract. Please contact us to see what’s available or to be put on the waitlist.
Where does training take place?
Regular goalkeeper training runs indoors at The Box, 204–5529 192 Street in Cloverdale, Surrey.
Can adults train at KeeperTec?
Yes. KeeperTec works with youth and adult goalkeepers. Adults are welcome to register for Private Sessions.
How do registration and payments work?
All registration is completed online through Amilia (SmartRec). Open the links and complete registration for groups, private sessions and seasonal programs there. You can also access your account for details of your registered programs at any time, online or by downloading their app.
What if we miss a session or need to cancel?
Review the terms attached to your specific program or membership on the booking page before paying. If something is unclear, contact KeeperTec for confirmation rather than assuming sessions can be refunded or made up.
How long will it take for my goalkeeper to show improvement?
Every student is different, and most will get out of it what they put into it. We have found it takes an average of 6 months to see consistent change.
