What Player's Have Said...

KeeperTec has helped me understand soccer a lot better since the first time I joined. Adrienne has many well-thought out training sessions that will help any keeper develop and improve their techniques. When I first came to KeeperTec, the environment was more than I could ask for. Everyone was friendly and encouraging each other. I have been with Adrienne for about 2 years now and I have improved greatly on my goalkeeping techniques. I understand the game a lot more with the training she provides while having a lot of fun doing it. Adrienne works on everything whether it be handling, footwork, or positioning. She takes a great deal of time to work on the right techniques and footwork for such areas as crosses and 1 v 1’s. Adrienne also works a lot and the mental aspect of being a keeper. She will talk a lot about bravery and that was what helped me and others get rid of the fear in the back of our heads to challenge a player. Adrienne has such a good program for goalkeepers and I would encourage everyone to join it, as it will definitely help anyone improve any goalkeeping techniques.

"Adrienne has worked with me as a goalkeeper for the past 2 summers. Her knowledge and experience has helped me develop my skills more than I could have ever imagined. She is respected by all of her players for her expertise, and incorporates drills that challenge the abilities of all of her goalkeepers. Her passion and excitement about coaching is inspiring. Some of her drills are so much fun that I forget how hard I am working until I stop and realize that I am out of breath (and not always from laughing). She has given me the skills and confidence I need to succeed at the University level. I am honoured to have had the chance to work with such a top-class coach. Adrienne is very personable and truly cares about her keepers as both players and people. She has taught me so much, in particular that no matter what the skill level is, it is always important to keep my head up and focus on the basics.”

"Throughout the past 3 years of my goalkeeper training I myself and others around me had seen a drastic Improvement in my ability to perform as a keeper. My reflexes, positioning, handling and most of all my ability to handle the pressure has changed for the better. The person responsible for my improvement was goal keeper coach, Adrienne Cook. Throughout my youth career never have I come across such a dedicated goalkeeper coach; who no matter what your skill level is, brings you back to the basics and builds on your skill from the ground up. I believe this is because not only is she a qualified goal keeper coach but her background in education gives her the tools needed to build on players making them go from zero to hero. I've seen her work not only with me but many goalkeepers around me turning them into the best goalkeeper versions of themselves. Overall, it was been a privilege to train with Adrienne and I recommend anyone who's looking to improve themselves to turn directly to her."

"I have been training with Adrienne for the past two and a half years. To this day I can still remember our first training sessions. I have been a goal keeper since I was 12 years old and trained with other goal keeper coaches prior to Adrienne. In our first session she told me I was not seeing the ball. At first it was hard for me to accept and understand this comment, then in a shooting drill I kept missing the shots and I realised she was right. Since then she has taught me to focus on the ball as it comes into my hands. We work on this every practice. By perfecting this skill my body can now make reaction saves without me even thinking. The “forward flop” was another skill Adrienne taught me that has greatly improved my game. Adrienne has mentally and physically challenged me to become a better goal keeper. She has helped me achieve my goal of playing soccer at University on a scholarship. In 2012, my freshman year, I was the starting goal keeper on the Simon Fraser University women’s varsity soccer team. SFU is the only Canadian university to have varsity teams playing in the NCAA. I was also the only Canadian player named to the reserve All Star Team in the GNAC. I thank Adrienne for still continuing to push me to become the best I can be. I would not be as successful a goal keeper or be able to play soccer at the level I am today without her assistance."

"I started off my collegiate soccer career as a keeper for Douglas College in 2009, and played there for two years. I had the opportunity to work with Adrienne during my second year, and the improvements I saw within myself during that time were tremendous. The technical training and work ethic that she offered made a huge impact on me both on and off the field. Near the end of the season she asked me if I had ever thought of playing in the United States, and I replied that it had always been my dream but I would have no idea where to begin. With her help, I was able to come in contact with a few interested schools, and eventually received a scholarship to a Div. 1 team in the NCAA – Arkansas State University. Having just completed my senior year, I leave on a winning season and two school records. I can't thank Adrienne enough for everything that she has done for me, and without having her support as a coach I could have never been able to accomplish all of this."

"I was chosen to play in a High Performance League. However, but even up to that time I had little to no training and barely understood the full role of a goalkeeper resulting in loss of confidence. Around this time, I was introduced to Adrienne, who would soon prove to be one of the most influential people I would meet in my soccer career. She held each practice to a high standard, and expected us to do the same, forcing me to want to perform well in all aspects of soccer. Her expectations did not stop with just goalkeeping techniques, but also distribution, as she believes that foot skills are just as important for goalkeepers as they are for outfield players. Because of her, I was able to find a University to play for when I didn’t think that anyone would want me. Moreover, she helped prepare me for the level of soccer I was about to play, resulting in me gaining a starting position on the team in my first year. Ultimately, I am very grateful for working with Adrienne, as she saw potential in me that I did not see within myself."

What Parents Have Said...

"After a few months of our daughter starting her training with Adrienne, we saw a dramatic increase in our daughter's technical skills and confidence. Adrienne puts together a program which covers all aspects of goaltending while providing integrity and respect towards each other, themselves and the game. She not only relates well to her students, but also manages to pull the best out of them. Based on our own daughter's experience, we recommend Adrienne to any parent seeking goaltending training for their daughter or son."

"Adrienne helped spark a passion in our daughter for the GK position through her positive, infectious and consistent approach to coaching. She is always very organized and runs hi-tempo, fun and challenging training sessions. She knows how to push her keepers to continuously improve; keeping them accountable for applying the training in game situations while motivating and encouraging them constantly. She has made a very positive impact on our daughter who is a better person and player because of Adrienne's mentorship and coaching abilities. I strongly recommend her as a GK coach"

"Our daughter Gabi has been with Adrienne now for 3 full years, going into her 4th year now. Without a doubt the training she has received has made her a more successful and confident goalkeeper. She looks forward to going to each and every session and has improved tremendously over the time period. On the field, coaches always comment on her skill level and her fearless attitude. The themes of the training make sense and are easily transferrable by the players to their game. I know there have been many occasions where when she has tried something she just learned, or practiced at training, she'll come off the field and hi-5 saying "just like at Keepertec" with a huge grin. I highly recommend the Keepertec programme to anyone wanting to improve their skill level and technique."

"Nicole loves her training time at KeeperTec and would not miss it for anything. She would rather go to training than pretty much anything I can think of... She really gets a lot out of the program and her skills keep improving every year. This year the Senior school team used her as their exclusive goalie ( not bad for Grade 8! ) and she did very against the GR 10,11 & 12's. All her coaches and the parents were commenting on how well she did."

"We want to express our appeciation and amazement for the knowledge and skills our son gained from spending the time he has at KeeperTec. Adrienne has an amazing ability to immediately balance gaining the complete respect and attention of all the players (male and female) while also making the training fun, exciting and effective. She gives full attention to each player and assess the misses as they go along to help them understand each and every goal in a way that gives them the knowledge of what to do in that exact situation the next time. Always positive, clear, fun, with confidence and undeniable knowledge and wisdom. Our son, has spent a few weeks of camp with Adrienne at KeeperTec and continues each time to improve. She is always his first choice as well as ours for goalie training as we all put the highest value on our time with her. We know he will continue to develop with each session spent with her. We are a busy family of three kids and in this world of parents and kids and classes and running around and driving here and there... no matter where she is we go because we absolutely know it is money and time well spent and 100% worth the time and effort. It is an absolute privaliage to be lucky enough to have some training time with her. We recommend her to everyone that asks, "WOW he's amazing! Where did he learn that?!" "ADRIENNE AT KEEPERTEC!!!!!!!"?"

"KeeperTec has been the main difference in my 12-year-old daughters soccer journey. She became a passionate 6 year old soccer Player, who enjoyed the game and all it had to offer. It wasn’t until she met Adrienne at KeeperTec that she planted roots in her position as goalkeeper. Adrienne’s passion, skill, common sense and direction have not only guided our daughter as a goalkeeper, but also as an individual! If your child is wearing the gloves in the game, get them in to train with Adrienne and you will quickly see the difference. The mental advice that is given, is as important as the diving advice.
You will quickly see the difference as will your child’s confidence and game skills grow!"
