What we do

Being a goalkeeper can be a lonely position. Most teams only have one. None of your team mates or even your parents can truly understand what you go through every week. KeeperTec's Goalkeeper Mentorship Program offers a platform for you to express your ups and downs with somebody who's been there.

At times, the amount of on field training you receive as a goalkeeper might not be enough. As a youth goalkeeper, you may need extra support away from the field. This will help you build an understanding of the position along with personal confidence.

We're here to answer your questions about a mistake or discuss a result that your excited about, we'll always be available to listen to and offer you the needed support and guidance. This could have to do with a situation in your match or when looking for a post secondary environment to play in.

KeeperTec is aware of the fact that every individual is different and may require that little extra bit of attention. We not only focus strongly on technical development but also the creation of confidence through teaching.

How you improve

At KeeperTec, we have set up a schedule of programs to meet the needs of all goalkeepers, coupled with the developmental needs of the individual depending on level and age. Some of the services we provide as part of our goalkeeper training and goalkeeper mentorship include:

• Skype or phone calls
• Unlimited access to support via text or email.
• Self-assessment after matches each week so you learn to assess your own play.
• In depth homework assignments (Primarily in Off-season). 
• ​Mental approach
• Physical Literacy 
• Become a student of the game.
• Fitness progress tracked for older/elite players when required.

What is Required of me?

As a player, you need to first understand that goalkeeper development is not just about knowing how to dive. This will go a long way in helping you enhance your skills.

Goalkeepers are expected to:

* Complete written assignments thoroughly and thoughtfully.
* Have access to watching a soccer match in an environment conducive to learning and the ability to pause and rewind.
* Have an area to practice repetitive athletic skills with and without a ball.
* Be able to complete assignments online.
* Have a personal email account for   communication and check regularly.
* Be able to record and send video.
* Demonstrate maturity and focus on learning.

How can I join this program?

KeeperTec's Mentorship program will only work for you if you possess the needed dedication, and commitment to your development. You must be ready to put in your time and effort.

The mentorship program will require maturity and a desire to improve your understanding of the game, skills outside of the game and mental approach to the game.

All players must apply to be a part of this program.
